About the schemes we check

• Warm Homes Plan — launched 20 January 2026; council-routed; insulation, heat pumps, solar and smart heating for low-income and fuel-poor households.
• Warm Homes: Local Grant (WH:LG) — council-routed successor to HUG2; targets EPC D–G homes and low-income households. Runs to 2028.
• ECO4 — supplier-led; means-tested; insulation, heat pumps and limited boiler upgrades. Ends 31 December 2026.
• Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) — £7,500 grant towards an air- or ground-source heat pump in England & Wales. Installer applies on your behalf. Runs to 2030.
• Great British Insulation Scheme & HUG2 — now closed. If you’d have qualified, the checker points you at the live successor instead.
