Our guides are written separately from those commercial relationships: the team that researches and writes our content does so on its own editorial judgement, and we feature many products and services that pay us nothing because we consider them genuinely useful to UK homeowners. We do not, however, claim to be free of commercial interest — where we earn a fee, we tell you.
